It was a pleasure to have you participate in the meetings of the 1999 Remodeling Futures Program at Harvard University's Joint Center for Housing Studies.
As the 1999 National Association of Home Builders/Remodelors Council Chairman, your insight was greatly appreciated by the members of the study. Your perspective was well received because of your 20-year background in the remodeling business.
Many major building product manufacturers have spent a great deal of time and money to understand how the remodeling industry works. Your participation in the round table conversation and in our panel discussion about the future of remodeling provided a refreshing glimmer of hope for the continued movement toward a more professional remodeling industry. As we move forward into the 21st century, I hope you will continue to take an active role. With leaders such as yourself, remodeling will continue to make great strides towards recognition as a professional, well-educated, skilled and profitable industry.
Wishing you all the best in your future business and professional endeavors,
Kermit Baker, Ph.D.
Director, Remodeling Futures Program
